Why sponsor a hiker? Every year approximately 800 hikers set off on the 2650 mile Pacific Crest Trail. The trail is extremely challenging. Hiking alone for months at a time is very costly and isolating. A sponsor can donate money and/or equipment making a hikers experiance much easier. Also a sponsor can connect and encourge a hiker along the way.
